What is Edam?  

Edam is a space for picture book artists and citizens alike and this facility has been established to help picture book culture promoted more as a culture content-featured city. Edam is also where a variety of picture book programmes are run to kids, children, young students, and adults of all ages.

 What programmes are offered?  

• Picture Book Curation: This is designed to have citizens meet picture book artists and talk about how to make a life more interesting.

• Picture Book Play Programme: This is a customized programme for citizens to play with picture books.

• Edam Picture Book Flea Market: Edam runs a flea market of picture books around Edam facility every year.

• Publishing Annals of Korea’s Picture Books: Edam collects and keeps all picture books that have been published in Korea and makes an annual annals of picture books every year. This helps citizens to understand the history of picture books systematically and each one copy of the published annals are distributed to every picture book library nationwide.
